Evil Dead II is one of my all-time favorite B horror film. It is surreal and campy with practical effects that don’t really hold up well but still add to its charm.
Young Frankenstein is one of Mel Brook’s most well known movies. It is a loving spoof of the classic Frankenstein’s monster Genre of old-school horror movies. It was nominated for two Oscars for best writing and best sound as well as winning multiple other awards. Not bad for a comedy.
